Ours started somewhere between back-to-back meetings, a spreadsheet that refused to balance, and a thought most of us have had at least once:

"There has to be more than just this."

Two corporate employees. The usual 9-to-5. And a dream that wouldn't stay quiet — to build something of our own. Not another task on someone else's to-do list. Not another deck for someone else's company. Something we could actually pour ourselves into, and one day look at and say:

"We built this."

So somewhere between work calls, late nights, and everything else life was already asking of us, Civic Bites began.

No fancy office. No big team. No foolproof business plan. Just an idea, a hundred conversations, a lot of late nights, and two people willing to bet on themselves.

WHAT WE MAKE — AND WHY

Civic Bites is built from the things that shaped us. Language. Culture. Humour. Memory. Art. Aesthetics.

Some of it comes from the office you sit in. Some from the city you grew up in. Some from the language you were scolded in as a kid.

But we never wanted to be a one-idea brand. We want to explore — different cultures, different ideas, different aesthetics, different stories.

Some designs will remind you where you come from. Some will say the thing you've been thinking all week. Some will just make you laugh. And some you simply won't want to take off.

And we're only getting started.

WE'RE STILL AT THE BEGINNING

And honestly? We're new.

No decades of history behind us. No large team working quietly in the background. We're still learning. Still experimenting. Still figuring it out as we go.

And still getting a genuine rush every single time someone spends their hard-earned money on something we made.

Every order means something to us. Every message. Every comment. Every piece of feedback.

Because behind Civic Bites there's no boardroom and no department. It's still just us — two people who started with an idea and a dream bigger than a 9-to-5.
